Debbie: Tell us your love story?<\/b><\/p>\n
Stephanie: <\/b>We met in Junior High. We just kinda knew each other\u2019s face, but my sister and my best friend were like madly in love with him. I didn\u2019t meet him again until high school, and that\u2019s when we became closer friends. I was in the ninth grade and he was in the tenth grade. We basically have been off and on together since then.<\/p>\n

I was about fifteen years old, and he was too. We were actually born in the same year. One advice we would like to give to the Singles ministry is to take advantage of discipling. The way we see it is like– we\u2019ve been out in the world, our marriage was like not doing so well before we were able to seek out God.\u00a0<\/p>\n
When we first started studying the bible we were still struggling. But as we got closer to getting baptized, getting open about our sin, letting everything go, and getting the choice to kinda start all over again, that\u2019s what kinda helped us. Right now, as a couple we\u2019re really going after striving for God and putting him first. We\u2019ve only seen countless blessings from it.<\/p>\n

Discipling is what really helps us, it keeps us accountable for each other\u2019s actions, feelings, and emotions that comes with being married and being in a relationship. Surrendering too, things we used to have control over we no longer do.<\/p>\n
I think, if anything, just letting God disciple us, and letting the people he\u2019s placed in our lives disciple us, to help us grow stronger in our faith; and really understanding what it means to put God in front of our marriage, and that\u2019s what really helped us overcome obstacles.<\/p>\n
Debbie: What is the best thing about being married in God\u2019s kingdom?<\/b><\/p>\n
